SPL Front Lower Control Arms (AWD) – BMW M3 / M4 (G8x)

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts Front Lower Control Arms (FLCA) for the xDrive G8X BMW M3 and M4 give roll center, camber and track width adjustment with the correct ball joint angle for full articulation. The main arm is slotted so the factory pinch bolts can still be used, and the rotating clamps on SPL's exclusive Double Adjuster lock down camber and track width settings. No more jam nuts, and no more fumbling with multiple wrenches while trying to keep the bearings oriented correctly. The arms include a ride height sensor bracket that maintains the factory sensor location regardless of arm length, keeping the chassis electronics happy.

The Double Adjuster is machined from 4130 chromoly, gun drilled to reduce weight, then electroless nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Blue anodized titanium hardware shaves further unsprung weight without compromising strength, and stainless steel spacers are supplied to correct roll center on lowered vehicles. FK rod ends and high misalignment spherical bearings eliminate the flex and binding found in the OEM control arms while allowing smooth articulation.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Camber, track width and roll center all change when these arms are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical front suspension arms.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
• Rear-wheel-drive G8X owners must use the standard version instead: SPL BMW G8X Front Lower Control Arms M3/M4. This listing fits AWD models only.
