SPL Rear Upper Arms – Toyota GR Supra A90 / BMW G2x / G42

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts TITANIUM Series Rear Upper Arms (RUA) greatly increase the range of rear camber adjustment for high performance track and street applications, and are a must on lowered cars that need to meet alignment specification. The adjustment range provided by the eccentric washer on the OEM control arm is simply not enough to bring camber back into proper spec.

The arms use gun drilled 2024 aluminum center links, clamps and clevises, blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws and SPL's 360 degree rotating clamp system. The combination delivers strength, durability and ease of adjustment: a single 3/16" allen key is all that is needed to lock down your alignment settings, with no jam nuts to fight while keeping the bearings oriented correctly.

FK spherical rod ends replace the soft, worn factory bushings to reduce alignment change in the rear suspension under hard cornering, acceleration and braking. The Teflon liner gives quiet operation, low friction and smooth articulation while eliminating bushing deflection under load, and the PTFE is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race for very high load carrying capacity and greatly improved dynamic wear characteristics.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Rear camber and toe both change when these arms are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical rear suspension arms.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
• A 3/16" allen key is required to lock the rotating clamps; the installer supplies this.
• To use the full rear camber range on a lowered car, pair these with adjustable rear toe links: SPL Rear Toe Links Toyota Supra A90 / BMW G2X / BMW G42.
