OVERVIEW

Valvetronic Designs' Valved Exhaust System for the BMW M340i and M440i is built for drivers who want flexibility, performance, and an unforgettable exhaust note from the B58. The system begins with a massive 3.5" midpipe, splitting into unrestricted dual 3" mandrel-bent runs that flow to a set of signature Valvetronic Designs tips. With the valves open, expect maximum drama — turbospool that's impossible to ignore, aggressive overrun pops, and a motorsport-inspired tone from idle to redline. With the valves closed, volume drops by more than 25 decibels for a docile, daily-drivable setup suited to early morning starts or long highway cruises.

Construction is T304 stainless steel with precision TIG welds for durability and a flawless finish, also available in Grade 5 titanium for a further 21.7 lb weight savings over the factory system. Dual pneumatic-actuated valves are built for longevity and precision control, and the whole system is fully mandrel-bent for maximum flow and 100% reversible back to stock.
