OVERVIEW

Designed specifically for high-horsepower, street-driven vehicles, the 9 inch twin-disc organic is XClutch's ultimate street clutch. The twin organic disc upgrade optimizes pedal feel and reliability in high-horsepower street cars, where a single disc would be working at its limit.

This is the Stage 4 rigid organic kit for the 6-bolt crankshaft, covering the E82 1 M Coupe along with a wide spread of N54 and N55 135i, 335i, M235i and 435i models. It is supplied complete with a chromoly performance flywheel, release bearing and alignment tool.

Additional Parts Required

• Pilot bushing. XClutch does not include a pilot bushing with this kit — source one separately if yours needs replacing. Speed Logic does not currently stock this item; contact us and we will help you find it.
• Break-in is required. XClutch specifies driving the vehicle gently for the first 1,000 km (roughly 620 miles), avoiding aggressive launches; low-rpm engagements bed the friction material in properly.
• XClutch recommends inspecting the concentric slave cylinder while the transmission is out and replacing it if worn, since the labor is already committed.
• The flywheel, release bearing, bolts, alignment tool and spline grease are all supplied in the kit — no separate flywheel purchase is needed.
• Professional installation; transmission removal is required. Rigid-hub twin-disc clutches transmit more drivetrain noise than a sprung street disc.
