Active Autowerke Charge Pipe & Blow-Off Valve Kit – BMW 135i / 335i (N54)

OVERVIEW

The Active Autowerke BOV kit replaces the two small plastic diverter valves on the N54 with a single high-efficiency blow-off valve mounted to an aluminum charge pipe with a large venturi, built to handle the pressure that builds against the turbo compressor blades when the throttle closes — compressor surge, which can damage the compressor wheel and shaft. With the Active Autowerke BOV in place the stock turbos stay protected as boost is raised and excess inlet pressure is released with an audible whoosh. All hardware and fittings carry a factory-quality look, are built to perform under aggressive boost, and Active Autowerke rates the kit to handle 600+ horsepower.

Additional Parts Required

• None. Active Autowerke specifies no additional hardware for this kit; it is a plug-and-play installation using the supplied fittings.
• Optional: a flash tune is a recommended pairing for higher boost levels, but is not required for the BOV kit to function — see the MHD Super License for N54, which also needs the MHD Universal WiFi Adapter to flash.
• Installer supplies basic hand tools; no cutting or welding is required.

• Active Autowerke warning: when flashing your ECU, connect a battery charger to the car so voltage stays stable regardless of battery condition, and disable any sleep options on your laptop. Fitment applies to US-model cars unless stated otherwise; confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
