MHD Universal WiFi Adapter – BMW E/F/G-Series & Supra MKV

OVERVIEW

The MHD Universal WIFI Adapter is MHD Tuning's latest wireless interface for tuning and coding your BMW or Toyota Supra MK5. It plugs into the OBD-II port and creates its own WiFi access point, so your phone or tablet connects directly to the car with no cable in between.

It is the only MHD adapter that supports both of the protocols modern BMWs and the Supra MK5 need: ENET for F and G Series BMW and Supra, and CAN for E Series cars and for xHP flashing on G-Series and Supra ZF 8HP transmissions. That means one adapter covers the whole range instead of the separate cables and color-coded adapters it replaces.

MHD designs the adapter in-house around a modern chipset and higher quality components. Compared with the previous black MHD WIFI adapter, flash times improve by around 5% on ENET cars and around 30% on K-DCAN E Series cars, with better connection stability. Firmware is user-upgradable, so MHD can add features and support for further platforms later.

Additional Parts Required

• An MHD license for your engine. The adapter is hardware only and does not include any tuning license. Speed Logic stocks the MHD Super License for N54, N55 E-Series, N55 F-Series, N13, B58 F+G Series, S55, S58 and S63.
• An Apple iOS 10.2+ or Android 6+ mobile device running the free MHD Flasher app — supplied by the customer.
• A battery charger or maintainer. MHD states a charger is highly recommended for the initial full write (install and uninstall) and for long writes.
• No cables, dongles or OTG adapters are needed — the unit is fully wireless once plugged into the OBD-II port.
