Active Autowerke Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit – BMW 335i / 435i / M235i (N55, F22 / F30 / F32)

OVERVIEW

The Active Autowerke F-Chassis N55 charge pipe fits 2012 and newer BMW F3X 335i, 435i, M235i and M2 models with the N55 engine, whose all-plastic factory charge pipe will eventually break at the plastic seam — a matter of when, not if. Once it does, the engine immediately senses a large vacuum leak and the ECU sends the car into limp mode, leaving performance diminished and lackluster. Designed from inception to cure that, its all-aluminum construction is almost indestructible and its CNC machined throttle body connection duplicates the factory fit for a tight, reliable seal. A boss adds two ports upstream so injected water/methanol atomizes properly, with thread depths checked so the nozzles spray without hitting the walls of the threaded holes.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• BMW factory throttle clip and O-ring — required and NOT included with the charge pipe. Re-use the originals from your factory charge pipe or source replacements from BMW.
• Optional: water/methanol injection nozzles (not included) if you intend to use the two provided boss ports.
• xDrive (xi) cars are not compatible with this pipe and use the Active Autowerke F-Chassis X-Drive charge pipe (15-005) instead.

Notes

• NOT COMPATIBLE WITH xi (xDrive) MODELS. N55 engine only; confirm your engine and model year with Speed Logic before ordering.
