AWE Track Edition Cat-Back Exhaust – BMW M3 / M4 (G80/G82)

OVERVIEW

Welcome to the party in the back. The AWE Track Edition Catback Exhaust is the rowdy half of the AWE exhaust suite for the BMW G8X M3 and M4: a fixed, non-valved 50-state emissions-compliant dual 3" system that replaces the factory rear muffler with a clean, straight-through design.

A bespoke X-pipe unlocks a smooth tone out of the S58, ball socket mounting points make installation straightforward, and the quad 4.5" double-walled slash-cut tips are available in chrome silver or diamond black. Paired with AWE's mid pipes the Track Edition saves 22 lb over the stock exhaust. Everything is manufactured in-house at AWE and backed by their lifetime warranty.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. AWE specifies no additional hardware and no tune for this exhaust.
• Professional installation and a vehicle lift. Recommended for correct tip alignment and hanger loading.
• Optional: AWE Non-Resonated Performance Mid Pipes for BMW G8X M3 / M4 — required to realize the 22 lb weight saving, and they add volume and a more aggressive tone. AWE mid pipes are designed to pair with AWE exhausts only; when they are used, the inlet adapters supplied with this exhaust are not required.
• Optional: new exhaust hardware and clamps if the factory fasteners are corroded — installer-supplied.

Notes

• Important fitment notes from AWE. Mid pipes: AWE's non-resonated performance mid pipes are designed to pair with AWE exhausts only and, due to varying cut points, are not guaranteed to work with another manufacturer's configuration. Exhausts: AWE exhausts use inlet adapters to mate to the factory mid-section; those adapters are not needed when AWE mid pipes are fitted, and AWE exhausts are not guaranteed to mate with another manufacturer's mid pipes. Convertibles: the AWE G8X exhaust suite is not guaranteed to fit convertible models due to additional factory bracing. Valances: AWE exhausts are confirmed to fit stock and M Performance valances.
