OVERVIEW

Dinan's gloss twill carbon fiber cold air intake for the LCI X3 M40i and X4 M40i replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a larger-volume housing and higher-flow filtration, built to work with the factory turbo inlet or Dinan's optional carbon turbo inlet pipe.

The larger airbox and filter combine for a measured 7% flow increase over stock (589 CFM vs. 458 CFM), with a 66% larger airbox volume (250 in³ vs. 150 in³ stock) and 44% more filter surface area (82 in² vs. 57 in² stock).

Additional Parts Required

• Dinan B58 "G" Chassis Turbo Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0101) — required only if also installing the Dinan Carbon Turbo Inlet Pipe (D760-0062). Dinan states the turbo inlet will not mate to this intake (or the factory intake) on LCI X3/X4 M40i without the fit kit.
• This intake alone needs nothing else; no fit kit is required if you are not also installing the Dinan turbo inlet pipe.

• Fits LCI (2020+) X3/X4 M40i only — not compatible with pre-LCI 2018–2019 cars.
