Dinan Free Flow Axle-Back Exhaust – BMW 230i (F22)

OVERVIEW

Dinan engineered this axle-back exhaust for the BMW 230i to improve exhaust flow by reducing back pressure, which increases power output and gives the car a sportier voice that stays civilized when you want it to be and turns pleasantly aggressive under hard acceleration. Like every Dinan exhaust, it is engineered to suppress low-RPM drone so the cabin stays intimate rather than drowned in an excessively loud tone.

The system is built with ease of fitting in mind and bolts on using the included mounting hardware. It is made from 100% 16-gauge 304 stainless steel and will resist corrosion for years. The design finishes with twin 3 in tips in ceramic black or polished, laser-engraved stainless, and yields a maximum gain of 4 horsepower and 3 lb-ft of torque. The factory computer-controlled exhaust valve is eliminated.
