OVERVIEW
This system replaces the sagging OE muffler of the M2 Competition with a sleek, nearly invisible Dinan unit built from brushed T304 stainless steel, TIG welded, and finished with quad 4" (102mm) straight-cut tips — here in the ceramic-coated, laser-engraved black finish. The internal baffling was completely redesigned for a deeper, throatier note, piping was enlarged from 65mm to 70mm to free up flow, and an X-pipe fitted in place of the factory resonator raises volume while smoothing the note into a mix of exotic undertone and raw aggression.
The factory computer-controlled exhaust valve is retained, so the system stays civil at low speed and opens fully under load. Installation is bolt-on with the included mounting hardware.

- Dinan limited warranty: if the vehicle is still covered by the BMW new-car warranty, the part carries the remainder of that warranty up to 4 years / 50,000 miles; otherwise 2 years, unlimited mileage. Wear items are excluded.
