Dinan Adjustable Coilover Suspension System – BMW M2 / M2C (F87)

OVERVIEW

The Dinan Adjustable Coil-Over Suspension was developed in the race lab and refined on the street. It reduces body roll substantially, limits dive under braking and squat under acceleration, and adds traction that builds confidence at higher speeds — without giving up the comfort that makes a car usable every day. Threaded collars let the installer set front and rear ride height precisely, with up to 1" of drop in front and 1-1/2" in the rear (Dinan recommends 3/4" front and 1/2" rear to keep the ride civilized), while Dinan-spec progressive bump stops, included suspension packers and rear helper springs manage the added travel.

The machined components are 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized for appearance and corrosion protection, and the stock upper spring mounts are retained for quiet operation.

• Emissions: legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles because it does not affect vehicle emissions and is not covered by emissions regulations
• Dinan limited warranty: if the vehicle is still covered by the BMW new-car warranty, the part carries the remainder of that warranty up to 4 years / 50,000 miles; otherwise 2 years, unlimited mileage. Wear items are excluded.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. Dinan specifies no additional hardware for this part on a non-EDC car; the endlink mount kit and coil-over hardware are included.
• A four-wheel alignment after installation is required good practice, and tire clearance must be checked at the chosen ride height — both performed by the installer.

• Due to the extensive lowering possible and the increased suspension travel, the installer must carefully evaluate tire clearance under all situations. Safety will be compromised if all precautions are not taken. Dinan is not responsible for any property damage or injury.
• Dinan specifies this kit for cars without EDC / Adaptive M Suspension, and states the M2 CS is not covered without additional components. Please confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
