Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Mid Pipes – BMW M2 (G87, S58)

OVERVIEW

Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Mid Pipes replace the factory resonated mid section on the 2023 and newer BMW M2 (G87) with the twin-turbo S58 engine. Deleting the factory resonators and running mandrel bent 3" (80mm) tubing improves exhaust flow, raises the maximum horsepower curve, brings torque in sooner and holds it higher and longer, and sharpens throttle response and turbo spool. ER states the set runs with no drone when used with the factory downpipes and rear muffler.

The set uses an "H" style crossover to equalize pressure between the left and right sides. Evolution Racewerks tested both "X" and "H" crossover designs and found the "H" reduced droning and improved low end torque, which is also the design BMW chose for the factory mid pipe.

Construction is 100% 304 grade stainless steel, TIG welded in house and built in the USA, with CNC precision cut billet stainless flanges. The factory bracket hanger is retained, and high quality exhaust clamps join the mid pipes to the rear muffler section. A 3-piece design lets the set ship by standard ground and air carriers instead of truck freight.
