H&R Sport Spring Kit – BMW Z4 sDrive30i / 35i / 35is (E89, N52/N54)

OVERVIEW

H&R Sport Springs are the best-selling performance street spring for BMW, and replacing the factory coils is one of the first steps in suspension tuning. Lowering the E89 Z4 drops its center of gravity and reduces body roll, which improves handling and chassis balance while giving the car an aggressive but still driveway-friendly stance.

The progressive spring rate is increased roughly 10-20% over stock. During normal driving the springs preserve ride quality and comfort, then stiffen as they compress so the chassis stays composed when the road gets twisty. The lower ride height also reduces the car's wind-resistance profile.

H&R springs are built to be strong, resilient and more durable than ordinary automotive coil springs, and they will not settle or sag. Every spring is made from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened to increase life by more than 200%. All production is completed in-house, and each spring is 100% tested before leaving H&R's ISO 9001-certified facility in Germany.
