H&R Sport Springs – BMW 335i / 335is Coupe (E92)

OVERVIEW

H&R Sport Springs are the best-selling performance street spring for BMW, and replacing the factory springs is one of the first steps in suspension tuning. The lower centre of gravity and reduced body roll sharpen handling and chassis balance while giving the E92 335i an aggressive but driveway-friendly stance.

Sport Spring rates are progressive and increased 10–20% over stock, so the car stays comfortable in normal driving yet firms up for proper chassis composure when the road gets twisty. The lower frontal profile also reduces wind resistance.

Every H&R spring is cold-wound from 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened, which H&R states increases spring life by more than 200%. The springs will not settle or sag, and each one is 100% tested before leaving H&R's ISO 9001-certified production facility in Germany.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation. H&R requires the wheel alignment to be checked any time ride height is changed.
• Professional installation. H&R states its springs and suspensions should be installed by professional suspension mechanics only.
• A spring compressor is required to disassemble the factory struts.
• Sport Springs are designed to work with serviceable factory dampers; worn shocks should be replaced at the same time.
• If your car is fitted with EDC / adaptive dampers, confirm compatibility with Speed Logic before ordering.
