H&R Sport Spring Kit – BMW M3 Coupe / Sedan (E92)

OVERVIEW

H&R Sport Springs are the best-selling performance street spring for BMW, and this set is engineered specifically for the E90 and E92 M3 — including cars fitted with the Competition Package. The lower centre of gravity and reduced body roll sharpen turn-in and chassis balance while giving the S65 cars a tighter, more aggressive stance.

Because the M3 already sits lower than a standard 3-Series, the drop is deliberately modest, and it is smaller again on Competition Package cars, which leave the factory lower still. Sport Spring rates are progressive and increased 10–20% over stock, so the car stays comfortable in normal driving and firms up when the road gets twisty.

Every H&R spring is cold-wound from 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened, which H&R states increases spring life by more than 200%. The springs will not settle or sag, and each one is 100% tested before leaving H&R's ISO 9001-certified production facility in Germany.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation. H&R requires the wheel alignment to be checked any time ride height is changed.
• Professional installation. H&R states its springs and suspensions should be installed by professional suspension mechanics only.
• A spring compressor is required to disassemble the factory struts.
• Sport Springs are designed to work with serviceable factory dampers; worn shocks should be replaced at the same time.
• If your M3 is fitted with EDC / adaptive dampers, confirm compatibility with Speed Logic before ordering.
