H&R Street Performance Coilover – BMW M3 / M4 (F8x)

OVERVIEW

The H&R Street Performance Coil Over system replaces the factory struts and springs on the F80 M3 and F82 M4 with a height-adjustable coil over setup. Ride height is dialed in over a published adjustment range instead of being fixed at a single drop, so stance and fender gap can be matched to the wheel and tire package.

Lowering the center of gravity reduces body roll and improves handling and chassis balance while keeping the car usable on the street. Front adjustment is approximately 1.4"–2" and rear adjustment approximately 1"–2".

H&R springs are made from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened to increase service life by more than 200%, so they are stronger and more durable than ordinary coil springs and will not settle or sag. All production is completed in-house, and every spring is 100% tested before it leaves the ISO9001-certified facility in Germany.

Additional Parts Required

• None. H&R Springs specifies no additional hardware for this coil over system.
• Four-wheel alignment after installation (installer-supplied service) — required any time ride height is changed, and again after any later ride-height adjustment.
• Professional installation — H&R specifies that its springs and suspensions be installed by professional suspension mechanics only.
• If your car is equipped with the Adaptive M Suspension / Electronic Damping Control, confirm compatibility with Speed Logic before ordering.
