OVERVIEW
H&R Super Sport Springs take the F8x platform lower than the standard Sport Spring set, with an approximate 1.6" front and 1" rear drop. The lower center of gravity reduces body roll and improves handling and chassis balance, and the result is an aggressive stance for the M3 and M4.
The progressive spring rate design keeps the car composed when the road gets twisty while remaining usable on the street. Replacing the factory springs is one of the first steps in suspension tuning, and it works with the factory dampers.
H&R springs are made from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened to increase service life by more than 200%, so they are stronger and more durable than ordinary coil springs and will not settle or sag. All production is completed in-house, and every spring is 100% tested before it leaves the ISO9001-certified facility in Germany.
