H&R Touring Cup Kit – BMW 335i Sedan (E90)

OVERVIEW

The H&R Touring Cup Kit is a matched spring and shock package for the E90 335i sedan. It is more than a bundled spring and damper — H&R engineers the progressive-rate spring and the custom-valved shock together so the modest drop does not cost you ride quality.

Of H&R's two cup kits, the Touring is the comfort-biased option: it targets a moderate ride-height reduction with what H&R calls superb ride quality, while still delivering the lower centre of gravity, reduced body roll and improved handling that come with a properly matched suspension package.

Springs are cold-wound from 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened, a process H&R states increases spring life by more than 200%. Production is completed in-house at H&R's ISO-certified facility in Germany.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation. H&R requires the wheel alignment to be checked any time ride height is changed.
• Professional installation. H&R states its springs and suspensions should be installed by professional suspension mechanics only.
• Record ride height at all four corners before and after installation, as directed in H&R's technical instructions.
• Some applications require the factory bumpstops to be trimmed — check the H&R technical sheet for your kit number before installing.
• If your car is fitted with EDC / adaptive dampers, confirm compatibility with Speed Logic before ordering.
