CSF High-Performance Radiator – BMW 135i / 135is / 335i (E-Chassis, N55)

OVERVIEW

CSF's all-aluminum high-performance radiator for the N55-powered E8X/E9X BMW replaces the factory plastic-tank radiator with a 2-row, 42mm dual core built around CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology. The core carries an ultra-efficient multi-louvered fin with a 6.5mm fin height for maximum surface area contact.

Every connection point is engineered for the platform: CNC-machined "quick-connect" inlet and outlet fittings, CNC-machined brackets for fit and durability, and an all-aluminum race-style drain plug in place of the fragile factory item. The radiator is finished in a smooth satin finish.

Fitment is a true "drop-in": the radiator accepts every attaching OEM component, including the quick-connect hoses, the A/C condenser, the mounting brackets and the fan shroud, so no modification is required to install it.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• #7046 (automatic/DCT) only — cars currently fitted with BMW's superseding radiator 17117788903: that OEM radiator has no lower right-hand port, but the CSF #7046 does, and capping the port can starve the transmission cooler circuit of coolant. CSF specifies reconnecting it with BMW hose 17127548203, fitting 17117548104 and O-ring 17111711987 (OEM BMW parts; not stocked by Speed Logic).
• Otherwise CSF specifies no additional hardware — the radiator accepts every attaching OEM component and requires no modification to install.
• Coolant for refilling and bleeding the cooling system after installation (installer supplied).

Installation

• CSF does not publish a downloadable installation PDF for this part. Printed installation instructions are supplied in the box.
• Installation requires no modification; the radiator reuses the OEM quick-connect hoses, A/C condenser, mounting brackets and fan shroud.

• Two versions available — select the correct part for your transmission: CSF #7045 for manual transmission cars, CSF #7046 for automatic and dual-clutch (DCT) cars.
