Injen Pro Tech Air Filter Cleaning Kit X-1030 – Oiled Cotton Gauze Filters

OVERVIEW

The Injen Pro Tech X-1030 is the service kit for Injen 8-layer oiled cotton gauze air filters. Cotton gauze filters trap dirt well, but as they load up they restrict airflow, so they need to be cleaned and re-oiled to keep flowing like new.

The kit pairs Injen's heavy-duty filter cleaner, which loosens and removes dirt trapped deep in the media, with Injen's proprietary filter oil and its exclusive tackifiers. The oil carries a red dye so you can see where it has wicked into the media, which helps avoid the common mistake of over-oiling.

This kit is for oiled cotton gauze filters only. Injen's SuperNano-Web dry filters need no cleaner or oil, and using either on a dry filter voids its warranty.

Installation

• Remove the filter from the intake, clean it with the Injen cleaner and let it dry completely, then apply the Injen oil and let it wick into the media before refitting. Follow the directions printed on each bottle.

Notes

• Do not use on SuperNano-Web dry (–BB) filters. Wash those with water only.
