Injen X-1021 Replacement Air Filter – SP1121 / SP1126 / SP1128 Intakes (BMW N52 / N55)

OVERVIEW

The Injen X-1021 is the replacement air filter for the Injen SP1121, SP1126 and SP1128 intakes. Fit it at service time to restore the airflow and filtration of the original element.

It is offered in two media. SuperNano-Web (X-1021-BB) is a dry synthetic media — no oil and no risk of oil migrating onto a hot-film MAF sensor; wash it in warm water, let it dry and refit it. 8-Layer Oiled Cotton Gauze (X-1021-BR) is the traditional high-flow cotton element and is re-oiled at each service.

Additional Parts Required

• The oiled cotton X-1021-BR needs the Injen X-1030 Pro Tech filter cleaning kit at service time. The dry X-1021-BB needs only warm water; do not oil it.

• Remove the old element, fit the new one to the same flange and check the clamp is seated.
