OVERVIEW

The Variant 3 is KW's two-way adjustable coilover and the one most people actually want. Compression and rebound are on separate adjusters, so you can firm up body control without also killing rebound compliance, and ride height is continuously adjustable across the kit's range. It is the sensible step up from a spring-only kit and a large step up from the factory strut.

The stock damper is the limiting part on the G1X 8 Series. Factory valving is a single fixed compromise and the ride height is whatever the car left the line at. The V3 replaces the whole strut with a rebuildable, height-adjustable, damping-adjustable unit.

This listing covers the 840i xDrive and M850i xDrive (G14/G15/G16) with 352200CE, KW's V3 Bundle for this chassis, which ships with the KW ESC/EDC cancellation module for the factory adaptive dampers.

The G16 Gran Coupe is not listed for this part number (KW-authorized dealers show it under a separate part number, 352200EA), so G16 has been removed from this table and the 840i xDrive start year corrected from 2019 to 2020.
