OVERVIEW

The Variant 3 is KW's two-way adjustable coilover and the one most people actually want. Compression and rebound are on separate adjusters, so you can firm up body control without also killing rebound compliance, and ride height is continuously adjustable across the kit's range. It is the sensible step up from a spring-only kit and a large step up from the factory strut.

The stock damper is the limiting part on the G42 M240i xDrive. Factory valving is a single fixed compromise and the ride height is whatever the car left the line at. The V3 replaces the whole strut with a rebuildable, height-adjustable, damping-adjustable unit.

This listing covers the M240i xDrive (G42) specifically. Match the part number to your car's damper hardware, not just its badge: 352200DM is KW's Bundle, shipping with the ESC/EDC cancellation module, and is the one to buy if your car has factory EDC; 352200DK is for cars without it.
