KW Coilover Kit Variant 4 (V4) Clubsport 3-Way Adjustable – BMW M3 / M4 Competition xDrive (G80 / G82)

OVERVIEW

Clubsport is KW's track-biased build of the V4 damper. The hardware difference that matters is the top mount: a Clubsport kit ships with hardened race top mounts offering camber and caster adjustment as standard, where the equivalent street kit either has a rubber-isolated mount or none at all. That is what lets you actually run the static camber a track car needs instead of chasing it with control arms.

The V4 Clubsport used here is three-way — low-speed compression, high-speed compression and rebound on separate adjusters — and height adjustable across its full range. On the G8X M3/M4 Competition xDrive cars the factory adaptive damper strategy will not let you separate spring rate from damping, and the OE top mount is designed to isolate noise rather than to locate the strut precisely.

Additional Parts Required

• 397202EQ is a Bundle kit and already includes the ESC cancellation module; no separate module purchase is needed.
• A corner-balance and a full four-wheel alignment are required after installation, and matter even more on an AWD car. Clubsport top mounts make camber adjustable, so plan a proper corner-weight and geometry session rather than a quick toe set.

Notes

• Race top mounts transmit more road noise into the cabin than the OE rubber-isolated mounts. This is normal for a Clubsport kit.
