KW Coilover Kit Variant 4 (V4) Clubsport 3-Way Adjustable – BMW M340i / M240i / M440i (G20 / G22 / G23 / G42)

OVERVIEW

Clubsport is KW's track-biased build of the V4 damper. The hardware difference that matters is the top mount: a Clubsport kit ships with hardened race top mounts offering camber and caster adjustment as standard, where the equivalent street kit either has a rubber-isolated mount or none at all. That is what lets you actually run the static camber a track car needs instead of chasing it with control arms.

The V4 Clubsport used here is three-way — low-speed compression, high-speed compression and rebound on separate adjusters — and height adjustable across its full range. The stock damper on these cars is the constraint: factory valving is fixed, factory ride height is fixed, and the OE top mount is designed to isolate noise rather than to locate the strut precisely.

This listing covers the G-chassis 3 and 4 Series performance cars. 397202CL fits the RWD M340i (G20) and M240i (G42). 397202DK fits the xDrive versions of those cars plus the M440i (G22 / G23 / G26).

Additional Parts Required

• Neither part number in this listing includes a KW ESC cancellation module. If your car has factory adaptive dampers, contact us to confirm module compatibility before ordering — KW's published module list for our store does not currently cover the G2X / G4X platform.
• A corner-balance and a full four-wheel alignment are required after installation. Clubsport top mounts make camber adjustable, so plan a proper corner-weight and geometry session rather than a quick toe set.
