KW V4 Clubsport Bundle – BMW M3 (G80) / M4 (G82) RWD

OVERVIEW

The KW V4 Clubsport is a 3-way damping adjustable coilover kit built on the technology of a 24-hour race winner. KW developed the Clubsport program using the Nürburgring Nordschleife as its proving ground alongside the company's 7-post rig, and the V4 Clubsport takes wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcement for increased body stiffness into account in its adjustment range. As on the KW V4 Racing 3-way coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression are separated by KW's patented two-valve control on the valve manifold.

Low-speed compression damping is tuned by hand with six precise clicks on the purple adjustment dial. High-speed compression damping is set with fourteen precise clicks on the gold dial. Rebound is adjusted through sixteen clicks, each of which produces a noticeable change — reducing rebound force gives a more comfortable ride quality suited to highway driving.

Additional Parts Required

• Aluminum spherical bearing top mounts — available separately from KW for independent damping force adjustability; contact Speed Logic for availability on your application.
• Four-wheel alignment — a full four-wheel alignment is mandatory after installation and after any subsequent ride-height change.
• Professional installation — KW specifies fitment by a qualified suspension shop; installation at a KW specialist dealer is also what qualifies the kit for KW's extended warranty coverage.
• Tire-to-strut and fender clearance check — verify clearance at full lock and full compression, particularly with aftermarket wheel and tire packages.
• Ride-height sensor handling — cars fitted with headlight-leveling or adaptive-damper ride-height sensors require the sensor links to be relocated or adapted to the new ride height per KW's instructions.
• Driver-assistance recalibration — camera- and radar-based driver-assistance systems must be recalibrated after the vehicle is lowered.
• Installer-supplied tools: spring compressor, torque wrench, and the standard BMW suspension service tools.
