KW V1 Coilover Kit (EDC) – Toyota GR Supra (A90) / BMW Z4 (G29)

OVERVIEW

This is KW's V1 coilover bundle for GR Supra and Z4 owners whose cars left the factory with adaptive (electronic) dampers. It pairs the V1 coilover kit with KW's electronic damper deactivation kit, which plugs into the factory damper connectors so the car's electronics accept the passive KW dampers without fault codes.

The V1 itself is KW's entry-level coilover: you set the ride height, and KW sets the damping, tuned for a sporty but everyday-usable balance. Ride height is adjusted with a one-piece composite collar on the front struts and a separate height adjuster at the rear, on KW's dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread, so it stays easy to change for years. The struts are inox-line stainless steel with corrosion-resistant springs and bump stops, built in Fichtenberg, Germany.

Additional Parts Required

• None. The electronic damper deactivation kit is included in this bundle.
• Cars without factory electronic dampers should use the KW V1 Coilover Kit – Toyota GR Supra (A90) / BMW Z4 (G29) instead.
• A four-wheel alignment is required after installation and after any ride-height change.
• Check tire-to-strut and tire-to-fender clearance at the chosen ride height; KW specifies a minimum of 5 mm.
• Cars with ride-height sensors or camera/radar driver-assistance systems need those systems adjusted or recalibrated after lowering.
