KW Variant 3 Coilovers – BMW M2 / M2 Competition (F87)

OVERVIEW

KW Variant 3 is race technology for the road. State-of-the-art motorsport damper technology is packaged in a street-legal coilover kit with independently adjustable compression and rebound damping, so the suspension can be tailored to how and where the car is driven.

The exclusive KW patented damper system uses dual-level valves: rebound damping is adjusted for ride comfort, while compression damping controls the driving dynamics of the chassis. Both are set independently, and ride height is continuously adjustable.

Additional Parts Required

• None. KW specifies no additional hardware for this kit.
• A four-wheel alignment is mandatory after installation and after any ride-height change.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended; spring compressors and BMW-specific strut tooling are required.
• Check tire-to-strut and tire-to-fender clearance before driving, particularly with non-OEM wheel and tire sizes.
• Vehicles fitted with ride-height sensors (adaptive headlights, driver-assistance cameras) must have those systems recalibrated after lowering.
