OVERVIEW
The Öhlins Road & Track coilover system gives a true racing experience in your own car without giving up comfort on the commute. Öhlins' Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology is the reason: turning the golden knob clockwise on the damper switches it into race mode, and that single action changes all four damping areas at once — low- and high-speed compression and rebound.
On track the result is blistering response, improved bump absorption and a large increase in grip, which raises the safety margin when driving at the limit. The car is easier to balance on the edge of what the tires will take, and lap times fall. The DFV components react quickly over bumps and curbs, so the car stays on the racing line and in contact with the surface rather than skating wide. On the drive to and from the circuit, set the dampers back to road mode for a relaxed, comfortable ride that still offers more grip and quicker response than stock.
This is the RWD (2WD) system for the G8X M2, M3 and M4. It is a monotube design built largely from aluminum for light weight and long-term corrosion resistance, is fully rebuildable, and uses the factory upper mounts for OE fitment.

TECH RESOURCES
Additional Parts Required
- A four-wheel alignment after installation is mandatory. The kit lowers the car roughly 25 mm front and 20 mm rear, which changes camber, caster and toe.
- Professional installation is required. Spring compression, damper setup and correct preload should be handled by a shop experienced with performance suspension.
- Corner weighting is strongly recommended for any car used on track, and should be done at the same time as the alignment.
- No additional hardware is required — the kit reuses the factory upper mounts and includes the C-spanners needed for adjustment.
- Rebuild and revalve service is available through the Öhlins service network.

Notes
- BMS MW00S1 is the rear-wheel-drive kit only. Öhlins lists a separate part number for M3 and M4 Competition xDrive models — contact Speed Logic for the xDrive kit.
