Speed Logic DCI Dual Cone Intakes – BMW 135i / 335i / 535i / 1M / Z4 (N54)

OVERVIEW

The Speed Logic Dual Cone Intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox assembly on the N54 with a pair of inverted cone filters that flow as much air as possible in an attractive package that is easy to install and remove. It mounts to the factory turbo inlets with no cutting or drilling required, adds a noticeable intake whistle and helps the turbos spool more efficiently, and is good for 10-15 wheel horsepower with the proper tune. The filters are made in the USA by S&B and can be cleaned and reused for the life of the vehicle; the aluminium pipes are black anodised for a stealth engine bay. Filters are available in red and blue.

Additional Parts Required

• None. Speed Logic supplies the pipes and clamps needed to mount these filters to the factory turbo inlets - no cutting, drilling or additional hardware is required.
• Optional: a filter cleaning kit for periodic service, so the filters can be reused rather than replaced.
• Optional: a tune to make the most of the added flow - MHD Super License for N54 Engine or the JB4 Tuner for N54 BMW.

Installation

• No installation document is published for this intake. The factory airbox comes out and the filters clamp onto the original turbo inlets, and our team is available to help if you have questions during the fit.
