SPL Front Lower Control Arms – Toyota GR Supra A90 / BMW Z4 G29

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts Front Lower Control Arms (FLCA) give the 2020+ Toyota GR Supra and BMW Z4 G29 roll center, camber and track width adjustment, with the correct ball joint angle for full articulation. The main arm is slotted so the factory pinch bolts can still be used, and the rotating clamps on SPL's exclusive Double Adjuster lock down camber and track width settings. No more jam nuts, and no more fumbling with multiple wrenches while trying to keep the bearings oriented correctly.

The Double Adjuster is machined from 4130 chromoly, gun drilled to reduce weight, then electroless nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Blue anodized titanium hardware shaves further unsprung weight without compromising strength, and stainless steel spacers are supplied to correct roll center on lowered vehicles. FK rod ends and high misalignment spherical bearings eliminate the flex and binding found in the OEM control arms while allowing smooth articulation.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Camber, track width and roll center all change when these arms are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical front suspension arms.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
• If you hit a swaybar-to-arm clearance issue, adjustable front endlinks create the space both arms need: SPL Front Swaybar Endlinks Supra A90 / BMW Z4 / BMW G8X / BMW G2X / BMW G42.
• SPL's Caster Adjustable Tension Rod Bushing (CRB G29) is the other clearance fix. Speed Logic does not currently list it separately — contact us if you need one.

Notes

• BEFORE PURCHASING: On the 2020 Supra and 2019 Z4 the swaybar sits very close to the lower control arm from the factory, and this arm does not change that. If you have aftermarket swaybars or aftermarket caster adjustment, check the clearance to the lower control arm before driving. Contact between the SPL front lower control arm and the swaybar can damage the arm and put undue force on the bearing. If there is a clearance issue there are solutions, including SPL's Caster Adjustable Tension Rod Bushing (CRB G29) and adjustable front endlinks, that create the space both arms need to move freely. Please contact us with any concerns or issues.
