SPL Rear Traction Links – BMW M3 / M4 (F8x / G8x)

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts Rear Traction Links (RTR) for the BMW F8X and G8X M2, M3 and M4 increase stability and response by eliminating bushing deflection under hard acceleration and braking, and help reduce wheel hop on hard launches. Because the links are length adjustable, rear bumpsteer and anti-squat characteristics can be fine tuned. These arms are designed for use in high performance street and race vehicles.

Black anodized, gun drilled 2024 aluminum links combine with SPL's 360 degree Rotating Clamp design for quick and precise adjustment, and blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws shave further unsprung weight without compromising strength.

FK rod ends manufactured in Connecticut use a Teflon liner for quiet operation, low friction and smooth articulation that eliminates bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race, giving very high load carrying capacity and greatly improved dynamic wear characteristics.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Rear toe and thrust angle change when the traction links are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical rear suspension links.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
