Active Autowerke High-Flow Catted Downpipe – 2020+ Toyota GR Supra (A90)

OVERVIEW

Toyota and BMW jointly developed the Supra MKV around the B58 inline-six, a valvetronic single-turbo version of BMW's direct-injection engine, and its factory downpipe is quite restrictive — slowing the exhaust gas that drives the turbo, and with it spool. The Active Autowerke Signature catted downpipe releases that potential with 304 stainless piping that starts at 4.5" and uses the fewest bends possible, never dropping below the 80mm stock size. Dyno-tested at +18 whp with the Signature exhaust on the stock tune, and +53 and +94 whp on the Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes, it carries a 4.5" high-flow GESI catalytic converter stamped N/GBL/4389/1119 — EPA registered, third-party verified to test protocol 40CFR86, and it will not produce a CEL.

Notes

• NOTE: Federal law prohibits the tampering of an emissions control device. Mobile Source Enforcement Memorandum 1A, allows for aftermarket parts to be used in the repair or replacement of emissions control systems, provided the emissions aren't adversely affected. There is no mention or reference to cell density or converter volume dimension. The GESI catalytic converter will produce emissions that will meet the standards set by the EPA, not CARB.
