OVERVIEW
The AST Adjustable Lowering Springs lower your car's center of gravity while preserving the comfort you are used to from the original equipment springs. Unlike a conventional lowering spring you are not locked into a fixed drop: the AST height adjuster lets you fine-tune ride height even after the kit has been installed.
They are a direct replacement for the OEM springs and are developed specifically for each vehicle. The springs are cold coiled from premium materials on Wafios coiling machines, and the progressive design strikes a balance between lowering the car and improving how it performs. Made in the Netherlands.

TECH RESOURCES
Additional Parts Required
- Four-wheel alignment — mandatory. Lowering the car changes camber and toe. Book the alignment for immediately after installation.
- Professional installation. The struts have to come apart to change springs; this is work for a qualified suspension shop.
- Coil spring compressor. Required to disassemble the factory strut assemblies safely — installer-supplied.
- No damper change required. AST develops and tests these springs to work with the factory dampers, including the adaptive M dampers fitted to these cars.
- Optional: replace worn strut mounts, bump stops and dust boots while the struts are apart.
Installation

- AST Torque Specifications (ast-suspension.com) — manufacturer torque values and thread preparation guidance.
- AST does not publish a vehicle-specific printed installation manual for this spring kit; installation follows the factory BMW spring replacement procedure. Contact Speed Logic if you need help sourcing the procedure.
