OVERVIEW

The Bilstein B14 PSS suspension gives you adjustable vehicle ride height without the expense of a fully adjustable damping system. The kit combines coilover front struts and standard monotube gas-pressure dampers with performance-level valving, matched to application-specific progressive-rate coil springs.

It is designed for rear-wheel-drive F22/F23 228i and 230i, F30 320i, 328d, 328i, 330i, 335i and 340i, and F32/F33/F36 428i, 430i, 435i and 440i models. Ride height is set on the threaded damper bodies, so the car can be dropped to taste while damping stays matched to the spring.

Every B14 kit is road-tested and fine-tuned by Bilstein ride engineers under extreme motorsport conditions, and is made in Germany.

Additional Parts Required

• None. Bilstein supplies this as a complete front and rear kit and specifies no additional hardware for installation.
• A four-wheel alignment is mandatory after installation — changing ride height alters camber, caster and toe.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended. Spring compressors and BMW strut tooling are required, and the front strut assemblies are under spring load.
• Re-check ride height and re-torque the fasteners after the springs have settled, then re-align the car if the height is changed again later.
