OVERVIEW
The Burger Motorsports Billet Intake is a plug-and-play upgrade for the G05 X5, G06 X6 and G07 X7. It fits the inline-six models but not the M50i V8. Burger Motorsports rates it at up to 8+ wheel horsepower on the B58, along with sharper throttle response, quicker turbo spool and much louder induction sound.
The MAF housing and brackets are CNC machined from billet aluminum and anodized black. The OEM cold air intake tube, insulating base and heat shield all remain fully functional. Two BMS filter options are available. The oiled cotton renewable filter is cleaned every 15,000–20,000 miles and should last the life of the vehicle. The dry extendable filter is low maintenance, filters better in extreme conditions, and is cleaned by blowing compressed air through it from the inside out. Both filters have a built-in velocity stack for smoother airflow. Installation takes only minutes and is fully reversible.
