Burger Motorsports BMS Replacement Intercooler – BMW 135i, 1M, 335i, 335is (E82/E87/E88, E90/E91/E92/E93, N54/N55)

OVERVIEW

The BMS Replacement Intercooler swaps out the factory front mount intercooler on N54 and N55 powered E chassis BMWs with a higher-flowing unit built around a bigger core and larger end tanks. The extra core volume lowers charge air temperatures and cuts pressure drop compared to the stock cooler.

The gains show up most during long pulls and repeated runs, where the factory intercooler heat soaks: expect roughly 10whp at peak and as much as 20–30whp over stock once the OEM unit is saturated. It is a direct, fully reversible replacement suited to builds up to around 500whp; higher-output builds should look at the BMS 7.5" RACE intercooler.
