Burger Motorsports N55 Performance Intake – BMW 135i / 335i / X1 (E82 / E88 / E90 / E91 / E92 / E93 / E84, N55)

OVERVIEW

The BMS N55 Performance Intake swaps out the restrictive factory upper intake section on E-chassis N55 BMWs for a smoother, higher-flowing tube and a reusable performance filter. The factory cold-air duct and lower airbox stay in place, so the filter keeps drawing cool outside air while the airbox base acts as a heat shield.

Burger reports gains of up to roughly 10 wheel horsepower along with quicker turbo spool, sharper throttle response and a more noticeable intake sound. Installation is a quick bolt-on job that takes only a few minutes, and the oiled BMS111 filter can be cleaned and re-oiled rather than replaced.
