OVERVIEW

CSF's power steering cooler was the world's first true plug-and-play unit for the E9X M3 platform. It abandons the factory's low-efficiency mechanically bonded core for a CAB-brazed, high-efficiency plate-type design built with CSF's AC condenser technology, and lab tests around 40% more efficient than the OEM cooler.

The dual-pass, 6-row core carries 83% more surface area than stock. CSF added that size at the top of the cooler rather than the bottom, so an aftermarket supercharger, heat exchanger or auxiliary cooler can still live underneath the factory power steering cooler position. It accepts every OEM attaching component — oil-line connections, mounting brackets and the AC condenser — and installs with no modifications.
