CSF High-Performance Aluminum Radiator – BMW M3 (E9x)

OVERVIEW

CSF's triple-pass all-aluminum radiator is the cooling upgrade the S65-powered E9X M3 has always needed. A 2-row 42mm dual core built around CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology is paired with an ultra-efficient 6.5mm multi-louvered fin, so far more of the coolant's heat reaches the airstream than with the factory plastic-tank radiator.

The triple-pass flow structure routes coolant across the core three times before it exits, delivering the lowest outlet temperature CSF can achieve from this package size. CNC-machined quick-connect inlet and outlet fittings, CNC-machined brackets and an all-aluminum race-style drain plug round out the build.

It is a drop-in replacement. The radiator accepts all attaching OEM components including the quick-connect hoses, AC condenser, mounting brackets and fan shroud, so no modification is required to install it.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. CSF Radiators specifies no additional hardware for this part — it is a direct-fit replacement that reuses the OEM hoses, brackets, condenser and fan shroud.
• Installer-supplied: fresh BMW-spec coolant and distilled water to refill the system after the swap, plus a drain pan.

Installation

• CSF does not publish a downloadable installation PDF for this radiator. Printed installation instructions are packed in the box.
• Installation follows the factory radiator replacement procedure — drain, disconnect the quick-connect hoses, swap the unit onto the OEM mounts, refill and bleed the cooling system.
• Bleed the system fully after filling; the S65 cooling system is sensitive to trapped air.

Notes

• CSF publishes this fitment as "2008–2013 BMW E9X M3"; the rows above expand that shorthand into the individual E90 sedan, E92 coupe and E93 convertible body codes over CSF's full platform year range.
