OVERVIEW

CSF's race-spec DCT cooler was the world's first and only true plug-and-play upgraded transmission cooler for the S55 cars — the F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition. It uses CSF's AC condenser technology built around a 1-row super-high-pressure 26mm multi-channel microtube.

Where the factory cooler is a single-pass 6-tube design with a return pipe, the CSF unit runs a dual-pass high-performance core with 10 cooling tubes and a high-density multi-louvered fin, and lab tests approximately 30% more efficient than OEM. It drops straight in with no modifications and accepts every OEM attaching component, including the oil-line connections, mounting brackets and shroud/ducting.
