OVERVIEW

The CSF #8220 High-Performance Oil Cooler is a direct replacement for the factory engine oil cooler on the F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition, and is also listed by CSF for the F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M. It is aimed at hard street and track use, where factory oil temperatures become the limiting factor.

The cooler is built using CSF's AC condenser technology — a 1-row, super-high-pressure, 10-channel microtube design that maximizes oil flow and surface area contact — in a 32mm core that offers roughly 15% more core volume than the 28mm OE core. It keeps the factory mounting location and dimensions so the factory ducting and shrouds are reused, and it includes a removable, replaceable rock guard.
