CSF High-Performance Radiator – BMW N55 (F-Chassis)

OVERVIEW

CSF #7078 is the high-performance all-aluminum radiator for the N55-powered F-Chassis BMW — the F87 M2, F2X M235i and the M Sport F3X 335i and 435i. It replaces the factory plastic-tank radiator with a fully welded aluminum assembly built around a 2-row 42mm dual core using CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology, which adds roughly 15% more heat-transfer surface area than a conventional tube and sets up a dual liquid laminar flow through the core.

An ultra-efficient 6.5mm multi-louvered fin maximizes surface area contact with the airstream. CNC-machined quick-connect inlet, outlet and auxiliary connections, CNC-machined brackets and fittings and an all-aluminum race-style drain plug make it as serviceable as it is durable.

Installation is a straight swap. The radiator accepts every attaching OEM component including the quick-connect hoses, AC condenser, mounting brackets and fan shroud, so no modification is required.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. CSF Radiators specifies no additional hardware for this part — it is a direct-fit replacement that reuses the OEM hoses, brackets, condenser and fan shroud.
• Installer-supplied: fresh BMW-spec coolant and distilled water to refill the system, plus a drain pan.

Installation

• CSF does not publish a downloadable installation PDF for this radiator. Printed installation instructions are packed in the box.
• Installation follows the factory radiator replacement procedure — drain, release the quick-connect hoses and auxiliary lines, transfer the fan shroud and condenser, mount the CSF unit on the OEM points, refill and bleed.
• Bleed the cooling system completely after filling before the car is driven.

Notes

• Fitment follows CSF's current published application data for #7078. On the F3X 335i and 435i this radiator is for cars built with the M Sport cooling package only. CSF's US catalog does not list the F34 3-Series Gran Turismo, which earlier Speed Logic copy included — confirm your exact chassis, engine and cooling-package option with Speed Logic before ordering.
