OVERVIEW

Dinan's cold air intake for the F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M pairs a carbon fiber engine cover with a set of drop-in, multi-layered cotton high-flow filters, replacing the restrictive factory airbox lid while retaining the OEM filter location for a clean, magnet-mounted install.

Dinan measured an 18.6% flow increase over stock (862 CFM stock vs. 1,022 CFM Dinan, tested at 28" H2O per bank), good for a claimed 7 whp and 8 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 RPM on the dyno. The kit is 50-state emissions legal under CARB EO D-176-54.
