Dinan Suspension Link Kit – BMW M5 (F90)

OVERVIEW

Dinan's high-performance Rear Suspension Link Kit adds precision and predictability at the limit. The stock rear toe link setup uses rubber bushings and a curved forged alloy rod that flexes easily; under hard acceleration and braking that flex allows excessive rear toe change and the car feels unstable. Dinan stops the flex by replacing the rubber bushings with Teflon-lined machined steel rod ends and swapping the OEM curved bar for a stouter billet aluminum arm.

The stock front trailing links carry rubber bushings of their own, and deflection there lets the rear axle behave sloppily under heavy load; Dinan replaces them with billet aluminum arms on precision ball joints of the same type used in the Dinan front monoball kit — for a more stable, planted F90 M5 without giving up ride quality or comfort.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment. Dinan requires the alignment to be reset per BMW procedure after installation. Budget for this before ordering.
• Torque wrench and secure jack stands — Dinan warns against working on a vehicle supported by a jack alone. Installer-supplied.
