Dorch Stage 2.5 HPFP Upgrade – BMW N55

OVERVIEW

The DS25 is Dorch's Stage 2.5 high pressure fuel pump for the N55, replacing the Dorch Stage 2 (DS2) with a pump redesigned and optimized from the ground up — the basis of the highest-powered direct injection N55 builds.

Externally the packaging has been updated to improve hose routing and make installation easier. Internally Dorch reworked the pressure chamber, spring rates and plunger depth and optimized the pump's volumetric efficiency, and the DS25 runs efficiently all the way to 250 bar to make the most of upgraded direct injection injectors.

There is no cutting, no bending and no crimping; the kit drops straight in with full control from the DME, and all of the stock DME's safety strategies remain in place. Dorch backs the kit with a lifetime warranty and in-house calibration support.

Additional Parts Required

• Software changes are required to run this pump. With MHD (MHD Super License – N55 F-Series / MHD Super License – N55 E-Series) or BOOTMOD3 (BOOTMOD3 N55 Tune), select the Dorch pump upgrade option when flashing. Otherwise send your .BIN file to tuning@dorchengineering.com for the appropriate WinOLS changes.
• Choose the correct harness version when ordering — new style for 12/2013 and later builds, old style for earlier builds. Not sure which you have? See the Dorch N55 "Which Harness Do I Need?" Guide (PDF).
• Recommended: higher-flowing direct injection injectors (Dorch recommends S63 EU5 injectors) to use the pump's full flow potential.

Notes

• Starred Dorch fitments (F10/F11, F25/F26, E8x, E9x, E84, E70/E71) apply to 2013 and later cars fitted with the original Bosch HPFP only. This kit is not compatible with 2011–2012 N55 vehicles.
