OVERVIEW
The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit for factory diverter valves replaces the factory diverter valve charge pipe on 2006–2008 (Short Version) BMW 135i and 335i with the N54 twin-turbo engine. It was developed on Evolution Racewerks' 135i Time Attack race car after the factory charge pipe connections could not hold up to high boost.
The kit keeps the factory or any factory-style aftermarket diverter valves and deletes the factory diverter valve sound baffle, which splits airflow and creates turbulence. Smooth, throttle-body-matched 3" piping keeps charge air velocity up for better throttle response and less turbo lag. Instead of the silicone-hose connection most competitors use, it keeps a factory-style O-ring and C-clip lock flange at the throttle body and a CNC machined MAP sensor flange with the factory O-ring seal, so the connections stay leak-free under boost.
