OVERVIEW
The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series 4" Catless Downpipe replaces the restrictive factory downpipe and catalytic converter on the N20 four cylinder turbo engine.
Evolution Racewerks quotes average gains of 14 to 16 wheel horsepower and 16 wheel torque on stock boost, rising to over 24 wheel torque with a software upgrade; gains will vary based on the other modifications on your car. The company also reports a higher maximum horsepower curve, a torque curve that arrives sooner and holds longer, better throttle response and faster turbo spool.
The downpipe is mandrel bent in 4" 304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded in house. It carries a factory-style stainless steel flex section so the exhaust can move naturally, and a factory-style exhaust hanger to support the system.
