Evolution Racewerks Competition Catless Downpipes – BMW M2 / M3 / M4 (G87 / G80 / G82, S58)

OVERVIEW

Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Catless Downpipes replace the factory catalytic converter downpipes on the twin-turbo S58 in the 2021+ BMW M3 (G80), M4 (G82) and 2023+ M2 (G87). The factory converter's dense honeycomb core is one of the largest restrictions in the exhaust, and the turbulence it creates downstream slows flow even further. Removing it lets the turbos exhale freely, so torque arrives sooner, the power curve climbs higher and the exhaust note gets noticeably more aggressive.

Each set is built in-house in the USA from 304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent 3" tubing, fully TIG welded. The 3.5" turbine-housing V-band flange is CNC machined from billet stainless, the O2 sensor bung sits in the factory location, and the factory donut-style flange connection is retained, so the downpipes bolt straight up to the stock exhaust or any aftermarket system designed for the factory downpipes.

Additional Parts Required

• ECU tune (required): removing the catalytic converters will set catalyst efficiency fault codes without software. Choose one: Bootmod3 Tune – BMW S58 M2 / M3 / M4 or MHD Super License – BMW S58.
• ECU unlock (if your ECU is locked): Speed Logic ECU Unlock Service – BMW S58.
• No additional hardware is needed; all installation hardware is supplied by Evolution Racewerks.

Installation

• Evolution Racewerks does not publish an installation guide or video for these downpipes.
• Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory downpipes using the turbo V-band, factory donut flange and factory O2 sensor location.
